A Victorian Christmas Carol, Dec 4 - 20, 2024
Wessels Hall, Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms
A co-production between the Archive Theater and Pioneer Farms, this intimate production of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" will explore the themes love, loss, and redemtion that make this store a classic. We are creating our own adaptation of the story focusing on an intimate, emotionally moving, historically informed experience and we've booked the perfect place to do it in Pioneer Farms' Wessels Dance Hall. We'll be bringing you all the live period music on authentic instruments, delicious, Victorian-themed snacks, and all the fantastic production values that you expect from an Archive production. Join us on the farm and experience Dickens magical story the way he might have seen it played himself. This year in particular, we all need to be reminded that the magic of Christmas lives in love, charity, and the care of our fellow human beings.
Auditions for the show will be in August. Tickets for "A Christmas Carol" will go on sale in early October.
We'll have more information about auditions, cast, and crew coming soon.

See Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" as he might have seen it produced in his lifetime.
